Call for Nominations: Institutional Commissioner (Administrative, Vocational)
Dear Colleagues,
ACCET is pleased to announce the nomination process for one (1) Institutional Commissioner to serve as an Administrative Representative from a Vocational Institution, to be elected by the membership via electronic vote at the Annual Members’ Meeting, scheduled for December 7, 2026.
The Commission Chair, Mr. Peter Mikhail, has appointed a Nominating Committee to review nominations submitted by the membership. The Committee is expected to meet in October to consider all qualified candidates.
Under the ACCET Bylaws, an Institutional Administrative Representative is an individual who serves in an administrative capacity at an ACCET-accredited institution and is not primarily engaged in instructional activities. To meet the Commission’s current composition needs, nominees for this position should be employed by a vocational institution accredited by ACCET and serve in a senior administrative or leadership role.
The successful candidate will serve a three-year term, beginning January 1, 2027, and ending December 31, 2029.
Accordingly, members are encouraged to submit nominations of qualified candidates for consideration by the Nominating Committee. Nominations, including self-nominations, must be submitted through the link below no later than Saturday, September 5, 2026.

The Nominating Committee will review all submissions, conduct appropriate follow-up, and recommend a nominee to the membership for election by electronic vote at the Annual Members’ Meeting.
