Calls for Comment: ACCET Documents 2 and 25
The ACCET Accrediting Commission is proposing changes to ACCET Document 2 – Standards for Accreditation and ACCET Document 25 – Policy for New, Revised, and Existing Programs/Courses.
ACCET invites feedback on the proposed changes through the following calls for comment, which are open until June 29, 2026.

- Standard II.C. Human Resource Management
- Standard III.A. Financial Stability and Procedures
- Standard III.B. Tuition Practices
- Standard IV.C. Supervised Practical Experience
- Standard VI.B. Supervision of Instruction
- Standard VII.A. Recruitment
- Standard VII.B. Admissions/Enrollment
- Standard VII.D. Student Services
- Standard VIII.B. Attendance
- Call for Comment: ACCET Document 25 – Policy for New, Revised, and Existing Programs/Courses.
- Proposed changes can be viewed here.
- Proposed revisions include changes to the definitions of Interactive Distance Learning and E-learning, including a change from E-Learning to “Structured Asynchronous Learning.” These proposed revisions are intended to simplify the definitions and align with the Department of Education.
