The following accreditation review schedules have been established for the purpose of projecting and planning the administrative resources necessary for managing the accreditation process. All Accrediting Commission meeting dates are tentative and subject to modification at the discretion of the Commission.
Initial Applicants
The application approval date will determine the earliest accreditation cycle in which the initial applicant could be placed.
The institution must adhere to all subsequent dates. Extensions will be approved only by written request to and approval by the Executive Director or their designee.
The Preferred Application Receipt Date allows ACCET staff time to review the institution’s Application for Initial Accreditation, follow up with any questions, and allow the institution the opportunity to respond. An institution is not guaranteed review in any specific Commission meeting, and ACCET may assign an institution to a later review cycle due to scheduling necessities.
Initial applicants for accreditation cannot submit an ASER and will not be scheduled for an on-site evaluation until the application is accepted by the Application Review Committee.
